Introduction Dive in the Pool

Scuba in the Pool

We started the week with a very popular introduction dive in the pool. As a weekly event to create interest and opportunity we offer this dive free of charge to our guests at Kihaa Maldives. We explain the equipment and some basics about slow breathing and equalising the pressure and take you slowly from the shallow end of the pool to the deeper part. As you discover how easy it is to breath and move under water at the end of the session you will leave the water asking for more. After their pool introduction dive in the morning father and daughter joined us for a PADI Discover Scuba Dive on our house reef the same afternoon.

One of our divers captured a video sequence were a stone fish was trying to eat a trigger fish but in the end the trigger fish had a last minute lucky escape. To watch the clip visit our Facebook page.

The snorkel session at Hanifaru Bay on Saturday was an epic experience with about 30 animals somersaulting again and again to scoop up the plankton. Several guests on this excursion had found out about Hanifaru Bay online and choose Kihaa Maldives for their holiday as it is the closest resort to this protected site. We are all excited and are ready for our next trip – why don’t you join us!!
