Surfers' Paradise

From April to October

Surfing Season in the Maldives

As of August 2017, Ocean Dimensions are now diving & snorkelling in the Unesco Biosphere Reserve in the Baa Atoll at Kihaa Maldives – the closest resort to Hanifaru Bay. We hope to see you there!

The surf season in the Maldives is from April to October. We always hope for an early start in March and a late finish in November – let’s keep our fingers crossed and see what next month will bring. Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed including surf guides, instructors, students and of course our experienced surfing guests. As long as there is a wave – however small – we will go out and surf it!! NSP Surf boards in all sizes, spare fins, board wax, leashes, uv shirts, booties, zinc sun creme, surf hats, everything is ready to go. We had a brilliant season so far with students and surfers from all over the globe coming all the way to the surfers paradise Maldives. Here the water is a constant 29 degrees all year around and you have a chance to have dolphins as your surf buddies. Why not start making your holiday plans for the 2017 surfing season right now.
